well i have such a happy baby today there is literally nothing i can do wrong with her today lol. She is just playing in my moms living room as happy as a lark. Juliana can say so many words now...... ok it just seems like a lot of words to me lol. She can say Hi, dada, daddy, mama, dog (sounds more like og) she can wave hi/bye as well as pull herself up on the various pieces of furniture and she just started moving along the furniture. She loves our kind of food as well she likes the town house flipsides crackers, potatoes apples, juice, popcorn, bananas, Cheerios, and a bunch of other stuff as well lol. On Sunday Bryan is going to be picking up our new puppy he is part lab part pyrenees i can't wait to see him after we get back home i already know that Juliana will fall in love with him because she loves my moms dogs. The one thing i am worried about is how long it is going to take to get her used of not being center of attention nearly 24/7 lol she will still be center of attention just not as much as she is now i will have to split it between her and the new pup by about 30% lol maybe 25% not sure yet.

wow so big now

wow it's amazing on how big my little girl has gotten now. She will be 9 months old this month wow! She can do so much she can pull herself up on things and she has just started crawling crawling but it's so funny how she crawls she crawls on one knee and one foot it is so cute. Juliana can say so many words as well she can say yah, dada, daddy, mama, hi (when she wants to). She can also wave hi and bye to everyone. I can't wait till Easter she is going to look so cute in her dress. We took her out in the snow today and she DIDN'T like it one bit it was so cute and sad at the same time she was ok for a few seconds and then boom she started screaming and wouldnt stop till we came back in the house.

having a much better week so far

well so far this week has been much better then the last couple weeks not only is juliana pulling herself up more on the furniture and she now has 4 teeth and two more on the way. Every time we call her daddy right before bed she gets the biggest grin on her face i just love it. Today is her cousins birthday and she turns 3 years old oh my goodness i can't believe its been that long since she has been born. Her birthday party is on Saturday so we will be going to that as well. i wouldnt be surprised if Juliana is the youngest person there. Thinking of asking my husband if he wants to contribute some things to this blog since what he might have to say could be interesting. more then likely he won't do it but it doesn't hurt to ask him lol. My little girl also gets nice surprise with her dinner tonight she gets to have a teeny tiny cupcake that my oldest sister brought over to my folks house for her it is so cute i will post pics of the cupcake before she eats it and the after effects it more then likely will be very comical watching her eat it she will probably not be to sure what to do with it at first but once she knows she will dive head first into it.

wow what a week

well this week has been the week to top all others i am just glad that we got some good news out it. but anyways on to the good things of this week not going to let the bad things get to me i have done that enough already. but lets see here where to start Juliana can now pull herself up on on furniture and the baby fences. umm she can say daddy, dada, mama, hi (once in awhile), she can also wave hi and bye when she feels like it and she loves my moms dogs she just wants to see them all the time. i can't wait till we can finally go pick up our puppy. Juliana can also walk up the stairs if we are helping her because of course she can't stand on her own just yet. she is also smarter then most people give her credit for like for example i tell her that if she is trying to move around and she has a cookie in her hand that she has to sit still till she finishes it and its in a firm voice she will listen to me and sit still till she is done with it then of course she starts moving around trying to get into trouble. she also tries to put to much in her mouth like her daddy lol i tell her no to much and she spits it out and then looks at me like what i'm not doing anything. i wish i had her ability to fall asleep in a split second she gets that from her daddy he can fall asleep anywhere anytime. i can to but not that fast.

just one of those days

well today started out great my little girl started to do the what my husband calls the bear crawl where she is moving on her hands and feet she can't do it for very long but she can go a couple of steps at a time lol she also pulled herself up on the couch well not on it but she was standing beside it while holding on so i think i said that right. she also can say daddy now but she still says dada most of the time she also said hi today as well. Now for the sad news i found out today that one of our close friends lost their little girl this morning she was only a few weeks old. The good thing is that i know where that little one is now she is in heaven watching over her parents. She may have been to young to leave this earth but God knows what is going on and has a plan for their lives. I really wish i could be there for them right now but they are in my prayers.

My little girl is growing up so fast she is already 8 months old and she is already starting to stand up holding onto things without help. the other day she tried to pull herself up but wasnt able to do it quite yet. she is saying a few different words now daddy, dada, mama (when shes really mad is when i hear it most of the time lol), hi, and ah. Juliana loves to see the dogs my parents have she also loves to see my dads robots which makes me glad today bryan and i talked about getting a puppy if we get it now then we don't have to worry about how she will do with them later on and the pup will grow used of being around her as well.

introduction to our life in the military

My name is Jessica OHara and I made the choice to make this blog after I saw one of my friends make one. My blog is about my family's life in the military. I am going to start from the beginning and go from there. This all started a couple years ago when my husband decided to join the Army this was before we had started dating. He made the choice all on his own I started dating him knowing that if it worked out with us that our life would be hard because of what he wanted to do with his life. Well about a little more then a month before he left for training he asked me to marry him we wanted to wait till after he was done with training but then we were told that it would be easier to get me enrolled into the varies things with the army like Tricare and other stuff if we did it before he left so we saved up our money and went to the courthouse one weekend and had one of the people there (can't remember their name for sure sure lol) marry us. So we got married and then a month later he left for basic I got to see him for basic graduation for a few days then he had to go back to training for AIT. Once he got done with training he was able to get some off time to recuperate and help move us down to his first duty station which was Fort Polk La aka the land of hell lol. So while we were home we got a rental truck and packed up all my furniture and started on our way to our new home. We got to Fort Polk on July 4th just in time to see the fireworks (ha nothing in my opinion) anyways we had to stay with a friend for a few days while we waited for housing on base to become available. But once we got the news that there was a house that we could move into we told them yes we wanted it. So we moved in and got settled down but then we got the news that the unit he was put into was deploying in a few months. Well you can imagine what passed through my head once we found out about that. We are newly married and haven't even had a chance to really get used of living together and he is already going to be leaving me. Well we got used of the fact that we had no choice that he was actually leaving me and we doing good then one day I got really sick and at first we thought it was the flu so we went to the hospital and they asked me if there was any chance that I could be pregnant and I said that there would always be the chance since I wasn't using a form of birth control at the time so they did a test and came back and told us that I was of course expecting that was a major blow to us since he was scheduled to deploy literally days later. But we made plans and decided what I was going to do while he was gone and that was that I was going to go home while he was deployed. And while he was gone I went to my doctor appointments without him but while I had to go to them without him I was able to have my wonderful mom come with me and that helped me out so much and when we had my first ultrasound we were able to find out what we were having and we found out that I was expecting a little girl and both him and I decided that I would be the one to choose her name so I decided to name our beautiful little girl Juliana. I got to see him once during the deployment for a couple of weeks which was wonderful I was only about 17 and a half weeks along but I said that I would take any time that I could get with him that I could. During that time I was finally able to meet his dad (I was able to meet his mom after AIT) I had a good time I enjoyed seeing his little brothers (he has an older brother which I also met after AIT). Then he went back overseas and I went back home and kept dealing with the every day things. Anyways it started getting close to my due date and then one day I woke up early in the morning with major cramps and I started to keep track of them at first they were several minutes apart but after I went to my doctors appointment I had that morning they told me that I was having contractions and was a 3.5 and 40% effaced and that I had a very high chance that she was going to come that night. Well once I got home the cramps/contractions started to get closer and closer together till they were only a minute or two apart so I called my doctor back and she asked me if I wanted to come into the office or just to be safe meet them at the hospital of course I said the hospital and we get there and they told me that I was a 6 and 65% effaced. I had my little girl early that afternoon we tried to get my husband on skype so that he would be able to see the birth but the internet wouldn't work for us. In the end though he was able to see pictures of his little girl after she was born I was so happy when she finally arrived. She was the most beautiful person I had ever seen she was just perfect I would do anything to keep her safe. She would be about 4 months old before she would finally get a chance to meet her daddy. It was the 2nd best day of my life when he finally got to meet her in person. When he got back home the local news crew interviewed us and asked us how we felt about it and I told them that I was so happy that not only was he home but that he also was finally getting the chance to meet his little girl. Now we are happily living our lives and enjoying watching our little girl grow up day by day. I will be posting more as the days go by about whats going on in our lives I just wanted to give you guys some sort of background on us and how we started out with our lives together.
